I am looking to head out to ND in late December. Can drive my car or help with gas in someone else's, but it seems wasteful and counterproductive to go solo.

It is counterproductive not to go... well if you don't call your state senators or the White House.... basically not doing anything then your being counterproductive.... if you go alone you will meet a lot of people doing the same... I went alone and met a lot of good people! so just go even if you don't have anyone... also if you go at the end of December... it might be pretty much done.... the pipeline deadline is in January..... but only go if your truly for the cause.... because some people just want to go for FB fame.... but be safe!!

If you dont have other people to go with you can still take supplies. I am in college and can't go but my family has camping and warm weather supplies that i am convincing them to donate but Im trying to find people in our are that are driving up there so the spplies can make it up to Standing Rock. We live in Rancho Cucamonga.
