40 yr old, youthful, cool, nonthreatening, creative/artistic, writer/reporter in the Portland area with previous solidarity action experience seeking ride to Standing Rock to support the indigenous people opposing the "Dakota" Pipeline. On Facebook as Tony Nightwalker LeTigre. My Tumblr is Fr33kland. Cash poor but have food money. Have some warm stuff but not necessarily sub zero but I'm working on that. Leave & return dates flexible & could be handled separately. Would bring one medium/large suitcase plus small tent & maybe backpack.

Need a ride to Standing Rock?!
I am prepping a van for hauling as many people as I can to Standing Rock, North Dakota from here in Grand Ronde, Oregon. I will have 10 days to take as many trips with loads of people as I can to help with the protest against DAPL.
If you are (or know) one of these people that claim they would do what they can to help if they only had a way there. Look no further. That's why I'm volunteering my time & vehicle. To get those people there. I'll gladly, & in fact, HOPE to make more than one trip.
Anyone wanting to utilize this opportunity should check what it would cost for a bus ticket back, & come financially prepared to return home that way. Thus, freeing me up to continue bringing more people in. And allowing for each individual to stay for as long as they see fit.
I would like to be on the road with the first group no later than 3pm on 11/11.
But of course, that will be determined by the wave of response. I do realize this is pretty short notice. But I needed to wait to make this post until I was sure the time away from work got approved.
If you cannot go yourself but want to assist in the efforts of getting more people to Standing Rock, you may contact me via Facebook or at solomonster1026@gmail.com & I will provide you with a way to send gas money that will help in getting as many of us there as possible.
