We are exploring renting a van and leaving from central Maine on the 17th. Pickup in Augusta or Portland, and possibly some other places that are along the way. For folks in Boston there are cheap buses to Portland! With at least 10 people in a 15 person van it would be $80/person and we are hoping at least part of this expense will be covered by donations. We are estimating about $50-$60 for gas with that number and less if we will the van to capacity. We already have 7 confirmed! We already have access to a 7 person minivan but may have up to 15 people traveling + gear! At least one vehicle will be returning to Maine in late December, if there are 2 vehicles the second return date will be determined based on the group's needs. IF you know someone who may be able to loan a vehicle for 7-15 people please email me. Please send the information below if you are interested in joining us to CaitlinHorigan@gmail.com 1. Can you make it to Augusta or Portland on the 17th? 2. Desired return date? 3. Ability to contribute to van rental and/or gas -- which is not required to join! There is also a Rideshare Group on Facebook specifically for folks from New England: Thanks!NE to Standing Rock: Rideshare & Resource Board

Hi Caitlin,
I also emailed you.
I'm looking for room for three people interested in joining you. We are all coming from Bangor, Maine, and we could meet you in Augusta or Portland (ideally, Portland).
I'd like to be back shortly after Thanksgiving, but the other two are flexible. If need be, I can find a way back to Maine on my own.
We can definitely coordinate supplies to bring along, and one of my friends already has a gofundme account and we have gas funds for the trip.
I can also contribute to driving. I've got a clean record and I'm a current license holder.
Hope to hear from you,
Carmine
